Supplying parts from stock is one of the strengths of Van Vliet’s total customer support programme.
Van Vliet can supply either new, used or reconditioned parts at the shortest notice for all types of Trucks. If the customer wishes, a package of vital spare parts can actually be supplied along with the vehicle they are buying.
AFTER SALES MAINTENANCE
We offer after sales repairs and maintenance services for our customers at very affordable cost. Our maintenance schedule is properly organized that in essence it reduces repairs on long term basis. We keep improving our services to our clients.
TRAINING PROGRAMME
Van Vliet does supply experienced manpower to instruct drivers and clients’ mechanics in the mechanism of their vehicles. We send our technical personnel to clients to give drivers and mechanics technical training courses in maintenance and repair of their trucks on request.
TRAILER BUILDING
Van Vliet Trucks Nigeria as a member of The August Group has a sister company, August Engineering Limited which is into trailer building. This is a support industry that we invested heavily in so as to reduce our dependence on third parties in satisfying our customers. Ours is a one stop truck centre where you can buy both your tractor and also build your trailer. Our products are of the highest quality. In our drive to improve on our standard, we are in partnership with Metalicis of Portugal, the manufacturer of the METALOVOUGA tanker brand and are presently building the first trailer assembly plant along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway at MOWE Village in Ogun State.
We presently have a capacity of 20 trailers per month and have direct dealership of top axle manufacturing outfit BPW of Germany.
MOBILE WORKSHOP
We maintain a fleet of mobile workshops for the purpose of giving our customers added value to our service. The focus of this programme is tailored towards handling highway break downs of our customers’ vehicles.
With just a telephone or personal call to our office, our team of workshop engineers will get to the breakdown spot within a maximum period of 24 hours
